While I was away in Bali

Today I'm sharing some photos shot by Richard during the three days that I recently spent in Bali on a work retreat. I don't have any photos to share from my trip - I was in workshops half the time. Personal achievement of the trip: I managed to read "Eleanor and Park", a novel by Rainbow Rowell (I just learned that it's going to be turned into a movie!). Good stuff.

Anyway, back to the littles. Here they are, and as you can see, they were very happy without me, heh. According to Richard, babydoll didn't fare so well at night though. The first night babydoll was crying for me but she was still consolable. When it came to bedtime on the second (and last) night without me, babydoll was completely distraught, crying for mama. She even went to sit by the front door, while crying her eyes out. Richard and Ryan tried to reassure her that I would be back the next day, but she was inconsolable and she eventually cried herself to sleep. Oh my heart.

Does it sound mean to say that a part of me is happy that I'm still needed and thought of dearly?

Ok, on to the photos!
